Description
An unpublished and collective work bringing together a dozen or so Walloon cartoonists and comic book writers. This album contains nine illustrated, fictional or true tales. They have Stavelot as their setting, of course, but also Liège, Brussels or Mons. Unknown or lesser known events of those dark years are related, from the German invasion to the assistance provided to Wallonia by the French army, from the legend of the Angels of Mons to a massacre of civilians, from a heroic achievement of the Resistance to everyday life in the Red Cross.
